Where We Are
Boys Ranch
Our oldest facility is Georgia Sheriffs’ Boys Ranch located near Hahira in Lowndes County. It is the perfect setting for boys and girls to experience the outdoor life of South Georgia. Over four hundred acres and five cottages offer children plenty of room to grow into well-rounded, productive young adults. The Ranch has a long history of providing quality care for its children.
Cherokee Estate
There is no place like home, and Cherokee Estate is no exception. It is located in Whitfield County, just a few miles north east of Dalton. The Estate is situated on plush rolling pastures and meadows. The beautiful setting is a perfect place for girls to find the caring and loving atmosphere they so deserve.
Herrington Homestead
Herrington Homestead is located in Emanuel County near the community of Nunez. The Homestead, once the farm and home of the Herrington family, now provides boys and girls with a stable home life such as the Herrington’s enjoyed.
MountainView
MountainView, in north Georgia near the city of Chatsworth in Murray County, is the most recent addition to the Youth Homes family. It is known for its spectacular view of Fort Mountain. Murray Countians have embraced the residents of MountainView. The support of the community has not just been in the big things, but in the little things as well.
Pineland
Pineland is located near LaGrange in Troup County. This beautiful home for boys is located on twenty four hundred acres of farm and timber land. This is more than enough room to allow boys to mature as they observe nature at its finest.
