This past Saturday, Oct 5, was the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Faith and Blue/Deputy Duck Derby event to benefit the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes.
This year the event was held at the Effingham Historical Society and it was the LARGEST CROWD to date they’ve had.
The world’s largest duck, Mama Duck, and baby duck Timmy were all in attendance.
They are still calculating total number of folks and money raised for the youth homes, but this was a history making event!
