Friday’s Captains’ Dinner and Saturday’s Tournament wrapped up Troup County Sheriff James Woodruff’s and the Pineland Board of Trustees’ annual fundraiser, as they hosted The Striped Bass Challenge, on Westpoint Lake. 38 boats took part with over 120 anglers from six states came together to raise over $53,000 for local projects and needs. This community and supporters from all over country put this event way over the top of its original goal of $30k. Thank you to all who supported and came to the event.
