The AT&T Telecom Pioneer Georgia Chapter 124 provided a grant to Pineland Camp Pioneer for use of refurbishing Picnic Tables, Swings and Benches. Members of the chapter met in September at Camp Pioneer and assembled the swings and the benches. GSYH Facilities Manager Jerry Prophett replaced all the wood and refurbished the Picnic Tables in May so they would be ready for our summer camp season. Those assisting during the work day were chapter members Vanessa Ware, Sue Wofford, Dexter Smith, Martha Smith (spouse), Tesia Sharpe, Magnolia Pugh, Diana Watson, Randall Watson (spouse), Luke Camp, Shelia Burkes, and Gloria Etheredge. The members along with GSYH staff Sonya Goddard (Pineland Director), Shayne Goddard (Director of Development, Property and Facilities) and Jerry Prophett (Facilities Manager) are included in the pictures. This grant was greatly appreciated along with everyone’s hard work.
